A 1970's emerald and diamond half eternity ring, the gemstones set in a thick (approx 5mm) band modelled in 18k white gold.
The 6 emeralds (approx 3.5mm diameter) are a fabulous bright green and have the expected flaws consistent with natural stones, including a shallow surface crack to one of the outer gems. They are set between 10 sweet tiny little white diamonds.
A couple of the emeralds have sunk slightly in their settings, most notably one of the outer ones. This is not noticeable when it is on the finger. The inside of the ring looks quite crude, it appears that the reverse of the gems has been built up in places to prevent any further movement.
