A sizeable vintage gold ring set with an emerald mixed cut smoky quartz. The gemstone weighs approx. 11ct and measures 17mm North to South. In good condition; there are light abrasions and general wear to the stone and it's facet edges are worn. There is general light wear to the band and setting. The stone is set with double claws - in one pair one of these is worn away leaving a single claw on that corner.
Hallmarked 9k, Birmingham 1965/6 and stamped W&G.
