Beautiful vintage diamond solitaire ring, modelled in 18k yellow gold with engraved shoulders and platinum setting.
The round brilliant cut diamond weighs approx. 0.25ct, it is clear to the eye with some inclusions visible under a loupe. Colour is good and white. It is bezel set in platinum in a traditional style high open mount which allows plenty of light to reach the stone; it sparkles beautifully. The band is medium weight and feels generous and sizable upon the finger, the engraved shoulders are modelled in a sloping form similar to a knives edge style but a little more rounded. It is in very good condition with light surface wear; there is a tiny nick to one of the shoulders near the inside of the band, this is not detrimental to it's appearance when worn
