Edwardian era handcrafted diamond trilogy ring; the 18ct gold band features 3 graduated old cut diamonds (total carat approx 0.3) set in a beautifully engraved open scroll work gallery, which cleverly allows the light to reach the diamonds from every angle, giving them a fantastic eye catching sparkle.
The larger central diamond is an old European cut diamond of approx 0.25ct, nestled between 2 old mine cut stones of approx 0.5ct. If chosen as a 3 stone engagement ring it would comfortably stack with a wedding band.
The antique diamonds in this ring may appear irregular by today's more uniform standards, especially the 2 smaller mine cut stones, but old cut diamonds have a unique and romantic charm. This beautiful antique ring was handcrafted over 110 years ago and these diamonds were hand cut to softly sparkle and glow in the light of gas lamps and candlelight, long before the days of electricity in people's homes.
