A rare and unusual diamond sweetheart brooch; this regimental pin displays the insignia of The Ayrshire (Earl of Carrick's Own) Yeomanry (now part of Scottish and North Irish Yeomanry). The white gold & enamelled regimental brooch depicts a central lion-headed griffin, with flaming tongue and diamond-set eagle wings (approx 0.4ct in total).
Approx 3cm wide and 2 cm tall. There is some light damage to the enamel, please see photos for details.
