Vintage diamond and amethyst cluster necklace and dangle earring set, each amethyst surrounded with a halo of sweet little white diamonds.
Excellent condition. Amethysts are eye clean except for a very tiny light surface scratch on the pendant that is only visible when very closely inspected and certainly can't be seen when worn. Under magnification there is some light wear to the facet edges of the stones. The amethysts are a lovely deep purple, the pendant perhaps very slightly darker and the earring a tiny bit clearer in tone with occasional flashes of blue/red in tone, but they are well matched. The diamonds in the surrounds are good clear and white. The amethysts in the earrings measure approx. 7x5mm and are prong set in white gold, the outer rim of the setting is also tipped in white gold. The stone in the pendant is a slightly larger 8x6mm and it's settings are yellow gold. Pendant measures 18mm including bale.
Hallmarked for 9k gold. Pendant is stamped DDI and earrings stamped LA.
We've paired the pendant with a 9k gold curb chain. The chain is 1.5mm wide and hallmarked for 9k gold. Choose from 18" or 20".
