Beautiful opal and diamond starburst ring, would make a wonderful unique engagement ring or right hand ring. The central white opal is pring set in yellow gold, measures approx 1cm by 8mm and has fabulous spectrum of colours, with a softer backround glow in the orange/pink range and brighter flashes of electric green tones. The opal is surrounded by a starburst of 8 diamonds (total weight approx 0.24ct) set in white gold, in a yellow gold raised gallery upon an filigree band.
Excellent condition. There in an dark inclusion to the reverse of the stone (please see pictures) but this is only an issue when holding the ring up to the light, when it is upon the finger it does not detract from the beauty of the ring at all. The opal is set a little askew, again this does not impact on the ring's appearance but is only mentioned here for clarity. Hallmarked 9k gold.
