Vintage amethyst ring. The polished cabochon stone is set in an ornate scroll & bead filigree mount. A beautiful and eye catching vintage boho ring.
The large amethyst has a unique 2 layered effect, there is a soft lavender shade with deeper purple shadows on the base topped with tiny bubbles/inclusions, through to a clear quartz at the top half of the dome.
There are some small surface scratches to the stone. The photos include a close up of the most significant of these, a tiny chip toward the base.
