An Art Deco style sapphire and diamond cluster shield ring modelled in 18k white gold. The face measures a generous 23mm North to South, making this a sizable and eyecatching alternative Engagement or right hand ring. It is raised approx 2mm off the finger on an open filigree mount.
The central oval faceted sapphire is approx 1ct. It is medium tone and a beautiful velvety blue with a hint of violet. The stone is in excellent condition and clear to the eye. The intricate filigree surround is feminine, light and airy and studded with diamonds. These are of various colour and clarity but all are well matched, white and sparkling. The band is thin and dainty with decorative scrolling to the shoulders.
