Pair of large antique silver tablespoons, engraved with matching letter B's to handle. Both George III serving spoons are in the Old English style, there is a very slight variation in shape, mostly at the tip of the handle but this is not really noticeable and they are well matched. One is very slightly longer than the other. They are both in good condition with light wear through age, one of them has some slight distortion to the tip of the bowl; please see photos for details.
One spoon is hallmarked 1811 London and stamped with maker's mark of either HM or WH. It's length is approx 8.5 inches. The other is hallmarked 1812 London and maker's mark for John Lias. It's length is approx 8.75 inches
Total weight approx 107 grams
